It’s time to step up now and be heard. I don’t care if you’ve never protested a thing in your entire life, we all have to do it now. We are running out of time.
I agree with all posters that Lansing would be the preferred choice for all to show up in large number. I’m thinking of calling/emailing Frank Beckman on AM 760 WWJ to spread the news also. Video camera and youtube sound good, would be better if some media came.
It’s a long way for me/us also, but I think worth it.See you all there on the 15th in Lansing.
Just want to say, I’m in Hattiesburg area and I’ll attend as many as I can. Please email everyone you know about these tea parties folks. Our voices must be unified and peaceful, but LOUD, as our government officials are apparently hard of hearing.

media is what you make it. If the radio stations won’t cover, call it in the next morning. If the newspapers won’t write it, send a letter to the editor. If the TV stations won’t broadcast it, viral video the images. Even if you share your experiences with friends, families, chat room associates, co-workers, etc., you become a medium of expression which can’t be censored.
Are there going to be any TEA Partys in Eastern Idaho? Count me in if there is… Heck count me in even if there isn’t.
we are holding a tea party in Albany and the Corning Preserve on April 15th, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Yes, we are working folks who have to take the day off, which makes it even harder to get large numbers to show. We NEED large numbers! Some of these parties perhaps we can consolidate?
What is happening to our great nation? We must do everything possible to save her. After all- God bless America. Our religous beliefs are what brought us to the status of the greatest nation on earth and those lack of beliefs are going to be our downfall. We can turn this thing around. We must be heard.
I’m from Sutton does someone have a Tea Party organized for Hastings or G.I. I’m very interested in attending one if there’s one locally.
I think the empty form with the words NO MORE TEA or any protesting words would be good. Think about it. Everyone pays their taxes because we are law abiding but, we also send another form with the words written on it. That will slam the IRS as they have to open every single envelope that is received and the point will be taken. They are not going to like what we are telling them but they must open each and every envelope no matter. Putting a tea bag there would give it away although that must also be delivered as it might contain someones tax return. I have already filed but will still send one from each member of my family. That would be 4 forms of NO MORE TEA FROM ME.
Everyone should call or e-mail their reprenentatives and invite them to attend. Flood their phones and e-mails so they will have to take notice. Cant hurt.
Thank you for taking the time to organize this protest. My brother and I have been grumbling about our dislike of the way things are going, and are finally going to act on it and show how we really feel! I’ll be sure to tell all our friends about this (even if most of them are libs)…who knows, maybe they’ll have a change of heart =)
Iris, we live in Iola, KS and we to are ready to brew the pot. One april 15th our small community is planning a courthouse lawn protest at noon and we will caravan to a bigger party, hopefully in Pittsburg, KS or Johnson County. Are there plans for anything in Northen New Jersey? Bergen county? If so, please let me know. If not,maybe we could put somethimg together. We are only 15-20 minutes from Manhattan and belive me there are alot of us here.Let me say thank you for all your effort.NEVER GIVE UP!
We always hear that these people work for us. We need to take that at face value and start making them answer to us. We start by making them come to us for a raise and benefits. How many of you get to raise your own pay by NOT voting for it. We need to make them come to us and put their pay raise to a vote. We all know that it will get voted down each and every time. How many of them will want to be a career politician then? No more need for term limits. The ones that do run will be there for a short time to do some good and move on.
And please, keep phoning, e-mailing and faxing your representatives to invite them to the tea parties being held in their honor…
I would gladly attend a party in Gwinnett County but wont go to downtown Atlanta on a workday. I agree, anyone know of a party in Gwinnett?
Its past time for Americans to stand up to their rights and get back to what the Constitution really stand for. What government is doing is going against and rewriting it for their own advantage. We must stand firm and tell them its over.
Great to see so many tea parties springing up in NM. Are there any Silver City People interested Kate has already contacted me (I’m heading up Las Cruces) and it would be great if Silver City had their own.
We will be attending the Tea Party in Olympia. We live 2 hours from there but will drive; we are taking work off and pulling the kids out of school to participate!!!

13. No “voluntary” service for young people. The govt. DOES NOT own our kids and can’t demand/command them to “serve” in any capacity. The young people of America owe NOTHING to this country- they pay taxes and that’s sufficient. The logical argument to the wretched “GIVE” program is that older people, since they supposedly have “gotten more” from this country should serve instead.
