Tired from a long weekend of organizing Tea Parties, you’re now heading to work to earn some taxes to bail out Wall Street, assorted banks, and other improvident types who had enough cash laying around to lobby the Obama administration. I’ll be working in the state that day, about an hour and a half from Kansas City… is there something on the web or televised that I can get on? Whats the agenda this day?

Its about time we are heard. I will also take part in a taxday teaparty if we can get one going.
May I suggest we invite a speaker of some sort. I am a long time conserative ( I 1st worked for Barry Goldwater in 1964)and may I sugggest we try to invite some politian who is against taxes in the long run we want these people to come out and say it is the growth of government that is the problem not the solution. We need the active participation of elected officals to take a stand. It will also help to get press coverage. If you really want to insure press coverage have the rally start at 5:00 PM that way the TV crews will show up so they can use all that “live equipment” and we can attract all the people who pay taxes ( they all work) so 5 is best. Just some thoughts.
On Michelle Malkin.com it was reported today in Ohio that 5,000 people showed up and protested but only ONE local TV station news team there covered it. THIS is why you need to start flooding the local news stations with your upcoming demonstration. Where are the other posters on this board? Where are the messages of support? Where are the organizers? Get moving or forget it!
I would do everything in my power to be at something in SF. Hey People, we’re the home of Nancy Pelosi, we should’ve been marching with pitchforks a LONG time ago. And for locations, her congressional offices ought to be on the list. We’ve got plenty of great media personality around here too (Sussman, David Gold, Melanie Morgan, Michael Savage?).

I think we should march from the Federal Courthouse to where Capt. Cook’s Statue is and dump the TEA there!!!
Just wondering if we should make the Phoenix party a bit earlier…like 3pm or 4pm. One of our goals for this is to bring attention to our elected officials that we are tired of all of this and meeting at 6pm when they’ve all gone home seems a bit of a waste. Thoughts?

Yeah Annapolis, we will be there with our tea. We are tired of all this and we dont want to take it anymore. I hope it builds. Make sure the Annapolis Capital knows!!!!!
I don’t know of any tea parties going on around Oakland County, MI. But I do belong to a group called Friends of Joshua’s Trail and we meet at Jimi’s Rest. on Washington St. in Royal Oak at 10:30 last Sat. of each month. Looking for new members and be sure to listen to Joshua’s Trail Sat.s at 8:00 am on am 1400. It is a conservative talk show, very informative and funny!

I’m in Brentwood, count me in. Though, as much as I like the idea of doing this on Tax Day, the turnout will be much better if we do something on a Saturday.
I haven’t checked the nhliberty.org forum or calendar to see if anyone’s started making plans already. I’d be willing to start a Facebook page for a Concord Tea Party group if that would help.

Great pictures of the L.R. Peabody tea party! Conservatives are very creative with their signs. Just get the government off our backs and out of our lives.
