The Left’s reaction to Tax Day Tea Party events has been pure Saul Alinsky Rules for Radicals: Ridicule. But in the Chicago socialist’s day, the tool kit did not include embedding bogus newsies at opposition events. Beware such chicanery today. From DKos via MM:
We’re going to ask open ended questions that seem to have a slight conservative bent to (hopefully) get them to open up and just start ranting. Then, we take any examples of racism, hatred, ignorance, and stupidity that we catch on camera and make a little movie out of it. Probably a YouTube special. Here’s the list we have so far:
* What are you celebrating (The Boston Tea Party), and can you explain its historical relevance? [We're hoping to get some hilarious flubs from this one]
* Do you approve of Michael Steele’s plan to expand the GOP through a “hip-hop urban-suburban marketing strategy”? [hoping to get some juicy racist stuff from this question]
* (as an intentional misunderstanding/follow up, presuming that someone complains about wasteful government spending) “So you disapprove of your tax dollars going to the Iraq War?” [should elicit some confusion]
Anyways, it’s a start… but I’d love to have some suggestions for questions that sound fine, but should prompt an outpouring of crazy.

Good morning…
Does anyone know if there is a rally going on in Whittier, California? Or let me know if there is any other event near by.
Thank you
Yeah, let’s get some soundbites from those silly conservatives. What about all those dopes that robotically said “I just think it’s time for a change” prior to the election but couldn’t elaborate on what that meant.
What you are trying to do is exactly what the left wing always does. You go out pretending to look for the facts and then you twist it with half truths and lies only in an attempt to make yourself look good. We all know that all the government is doing right now is mortgaging our grand children’s future. We can’t spend money that we don’t have. Printing more is only going to devalue the American dollar and raise inflation. It will in the end bankrupt our country if we as a people don’t stop it. It is time that we stand up and say no. You go around and try all you want to twist the truth. Publish your lies all you want. But at the end of the day when all is said and done and we become the USSA (United Socialist States of America) it will be you and your ignorance that is to blame. When America becomes a weak power in the world and the world and especially our country is in complete chaos, then you will be the one to look in the mirror and say “this is all my fault”. Taxation without representation never has and will not be tolerated in this country, and it is up to all of us now to say no to the government.

Wow that is so clever! I guess you and your husband don’t have jobs and are probably collecting unemployment.. So instead of devoting your time job searching you have decided to insult people whom have a right to voice their anger of being fleeced by the US Government… Keep it up the hard work.
I applaud all who will be attending this event…..to my great sadness there is not A TEA Party in my neck of the woods…..Northern NH…..I will be following the results closely and possibly we could generate some interest up here!!
Would love to be involved!!
I wish that I could afford to go to the one in my state, but unfortunately, with the taxation without proper representation that we are suffering from with our current regime in government, my family and I all must work to-day in order to pay for the people who choose not to work, but live off us (welfare, congress, the senate, President Obama). We will be honking our horns at noon though just to show our support and hopefully can see you at the next one.
