The Charlotte Tea Party was smaller than some but had great energy…around 2500 people attending… people driving by the rally were constantly honking horns in show of support. Charlotte is a big banking city so the 2-4 pm timeslot was tough for turnout but the speeches were great and the crowd was very courteous and pleasant…very different from liberal marches…
I sent out invites and this website’s link to 300 members of my
“End Obamunism” facebook group and many attended using the listings your site provided… keep it up!
Can someone total up the entire attendance in all 750 Anti Tax Tea Party ralleys all over the USA?
For those innocent young people got “drugged” to vote for Obama to tax themselves for Obama’s ego last time, would you please vote again for your children’s lifves next time?
In Walla Walla, WA, a city with a population of 30k, and with an adjoined town of 10k, there were 150+. Honestly, it looked like about 250ish to me, but I’m being pessimistic in my estimation here.
There was a huge plaza that was packed, two street corners were lined shoulder to shoulder with protesters on one side of the main stream, and on the other side, where the main protest was going on, they covered almost a block. Then the plaza itself we were in was pretty packed, too. I wasn’t expecting anywhere near the turnout. On top of that, I personally know several people who wanted to come but couldn’t skip work, and I imagine that wasn’t an unusual occurance.
I was in Lansing also. I don’t know how many were there, but it was a fabulous crowd! Thousands of people exercising their 1st amendment rights in a peaceable manner. Thousands of people gathering and there were no problems! What an amazing day!!!!
I’ve attended a lot of hockey games with 6,000 in attendance and it appeared to me that we had over 15,000 in Lansing, Michigan. The entire plaza (fifty yards square) was full with enthusiastic people. It’s just the beginning.

Over 300 showed up to the Findlay, Ohio Tax Day Tea Party. The rain and cold didn’t deter people from showing up.
