American Liberty Alliance Updates

logo

As many of you know… the American Liberty Alliance is quickly becoming one of the fastest growing online hubs for the free-market movement. Back when we were the “DontGo Movement,” we were able to drive a lot of the online movement through the energy debate, which resulted in a list of 40,000 email addresses and thousands of committed grassroots activists who were ready to take action.

More recently, the DontGo Movement played a significant role in the Tax Day Tea Party. Which, as we all know, was a Historic event with unprecedented results.

Since April 15th, we’ve had a handful of updates about our current efforts. We’re very pleased to announce that many of these efforts are coming to completion and we’re ready to roll out several large projects. Official announcements will come out next week, but I though I would go ahead and drop you a note on a couple projects that are taking shape as we speak.

-American Liberty Alliance
Our new website is nearing completion. The website will provide a 50 state network of local hubs for activists and liberty loving Americans. You’ll be able to use our site to plan activities (such as Tea Party events), network with others in your area, get training on activism and running for office, direct access to policy research and information, collaborate with folks in other states and much more.

If you haven’t done so already, please visit www.americanlibertyalliance.com and get plugged in. This is an announcement you don’t want to miss.

-Healthcare Horserace
On June 3rd, 2009, ALA will be launching a major project aimed at keeping tabs on the healthcare debate. This citizen powered effort will provide a neutral point of view of the entire realm within the healthcare debate, and we hope you’ll join us in helping make sure Americans know the full story on government run medicine.

Everything mentioned above is the good news. The BETTER news is that we have a lot more in the works. While we’re very excited about these efforts, we also want to make it clear that it will be people just like you who help us make the network a success. Please be on the look out for upcoming news and calls for action.

This is a big fight, and we’re going to need all the help we can get.

Lynn Holbrook, have you found a Tea Party home yet? If not contact me at http://www.teapartyofwmi.org

Im a songwriter, producer and publisher.
I just finished a studio demo of a new anti-Barack
song which expresses what Tea Party protestors
are saying and feeling at these events.
Playing this CD at your event, or having your group
perform it using my instrumental track, will add a
    great highlight to the day.
Be delighted to send you a CD copy at your request.

I have contacted a tea party organinizer in MI. I told them I would like to help in any way I can. However, I am not a good speaker, but I would help in any other way. God knows, Michigan needs all the help it can get. I don’t know where to start. I have been reading up on tea parties across the country. I did go to the last one on April 15th., but it was held at a bar which is not the greatest place; It was in Grayling, MI.. There is going to be one in Traverse City, MI July 4th, but I don’t know the how’s to go about doing this. Any suggestions would be most helpful. Thank you very much.
