As a member of FreedomWorks, I strongly oppose government-run health care and the trillions of dollars in new taxes that would have to be taken from the people to pay for the legislation. I also oppose employer and individual mandates, which force citizens and businesses into making decisions based on what the state wants, and not what makes the most sense for the individual or the small businessman.
Instead of crowding out the private insurers through a subsidized government option, Congress should vote for market-based reforms like allowing citizens of all states to purchase health insurance across state lines.
I hope that you will vote against any government-run health care legislation, and the trillions of dollars in taxes that go with it.
I am counting on you to represent me, my family, and the millions of Taxpayers who don’t want this legislation balanced on the backs of hard-working families happy with their current coverage.
Along with the majority of American Taxpayers I will do everything I can to vote out ANY incumbent Democrat come 2010. The sneaky, closed-door politics and sweetheart deals to ramrod this Healthcare bill down America’s throats have outraged every person I know and the Democratic Party WILL PAY THE PRICE! COPENHAGEN: Population and climate change are intertwined but the population issue has remained a blind spot when countries discuss ways to mitigate climate change and slow down global warming, according to Zhao Baige, vice-minister of National Population and Family Planning Commission of China (NPFPC) .
“Dealing with climate change is not simply an issue of CO2 emission reduction but a comprehensive challenge involving political, economic, social, cultural and ecological issues, and the population concern fits right into the picture,” said Zhao, who is a member of the Chinese government delegation.
Many studies link population growth with emissions and the effect of climate change.
“Calculations of the contribution of population growth to emissions growth globally produce a consistent finding that most of past population growth has been responsible for between 40 per cent and 60 percent of emissions growth,” so stated by the 2009 State of World Population, released earlier by the UN Population Fund.
Although China’s family planning policy has received criticism over the past three decades, Zhao said that China’s population program has made a great historic contribution to the well-being of society.
As a result of the family planning policy, China has seen 400 million fewer births, which has resulted in 18 million fewer tons of CO2 emissions a year, Zhao said.
The UN report projected that if the global population would remain 8 billion by the year 2050 instead of a little more than 9 billion according to medium-growth scenario, “it might result in 1 billion to 2 billion fewer tons of carbon emissions”.
Meanwhile, she said studies have also shown that family planning programs are more efficient in helping cut emissions, citing research by Thomas Wire of London School of Economics that states: “Each $7 spent on basic family planning would reduce CO2 emissions by more than one ton” whereas it would cost $13 for reduced deforestation, $24 to use wind technology, $51 for solar power, $93 for introducing hybrid cars and $131 electric vehicles.
She admitted that China’s population program is not without consequences, as the country is entering the aging society fast and facing the problem of gender imbalance.
“I’m not saying that what we have done is 100 percent right, but I’m sure we are going in the right direction and now 1.3 billion people have benefited,” she said.
She said some 85 percent of the Chinese women in reproductive age use contraceptives, the highest rate in the world. This has been achieved largely through education and improvement of people’s lives, she said.
This holistic approach that integrates policy on population and development, a strategy promoting sustainable development of population, resources and environment should serve as a model for integrating population programs into the framework of climate change adaptation, she said.
If Government wants to improve “health” care - they should spend money on teaching people how to eat right, live right and avoid sickness and disease, not “forcing” health reform on people who DON’T WANT IT! Of course we know they are not really interested in doing anything about showing people how to manage their diets and live healthy, because that doesn’t put any money in the pockets of their buds and special interest groups who donated to their campaigns.
If Congress wants to send more troops to fight they should ALL, The House and Senate be required to spend 6 months on the battlefield with the troops so they can evaluate the war. They might have a different approach or some better ideas on how to “fix” the war problems, too.

Dear Sir,
I am very disappointed with the current health care bills being voted on in congress. These bills are irresponsible, and do not address the issues with the healthcare industry.
We have a problem with healthcare, but it is not insurance. Insurance is the only thing that is remotely reigning in the care costs.
Our medical institutions have been able to run rampant and charge whatever they feel they can get buy with. If we focus on the cost of healthcare by opening it up to a free market, the we would be saving money.
We need to allow more generic drugs faster, we need to be able to buy our medical equipment cheaper. If we have to go to India or China to buy our drugs and equipment, that is what we need to do.
We need to be open about prices. When I recently got an MRI, I didn’t question how much it costs. I had to pay the same co-pay. If there were incentives to go to lower cost facilities, I would be calling these places and asking the price of the service.
So, in closing, I would like for you to reject the current healtchare plans and go back to the drawing board. Address the issues with healthcare and quit wasting our money. Fix the issues, don’t cover it up by paying more money and taxing me more.

Water Reed hospital is a clear example of government ran healthcare. Our poor Vets had to suffer due to poorly ran and direct medical care. Forgive me, I am just a little frustrated with mainstream liberal politics and mediums. In all honesty, Stop the taxes. Stop the spending. Stop the Intrusion on rights. Thank you.
The websites ‘house.gov’ and ’senate.gov’ allow a person to look up there senator or house of representatives member and send them an email. The email form, howver, only allows you to send the email if the address, zip code, telepphone number are in any given member’s district and if a valid email address is given. For example the case of my home address it is moot. If I has a second residnece in a different state, I enter that data; again, it is moot. On can, however, send an email to every congressperson with the following procedure: (1) Rank all senators by state, (2) go into the first one’s email address (ie-website), (3) pick a non-Washington DC office, (4) jot down its city,zip code, & telephone number, and then (5) use these to file in the required fields to enable your email to go to that given congressperson. For my street address, I just used Main Street, but any name for any street , avenue, circle, terrance, trail , etc will do.
I had tried to come up with a mass email list but so far have failed. This method wroks and sending your letter individually is probably best anyway. A few ground rules should be laid out: An idividually written letter is better that a form letter and this is also true with emails. The writing should be polite and businessl ike as any personal attacks, profanity, invectives, and the like, would only work against or cause. This approach needs to be gotten out to kindred spirits in as low a profile manner as possible.
The internet has helped to sweep aside the traditional media gate keepers. Obama and his circle have misrepresented themselves in their campaign for Obama’s presidency and since.
Now, as Hugo Chavez did in Venezuela, those who cherish their country’s staus quo and its normal rate of change face a potentially radical new path. Like the wolf in sheeps clothing, Obama has entered the fold. Now comes Reid with the nuclear option. Our tradition is to express our political will with our votes and our written correspondence.
We did not ask to be put in this position and I do not believe we are wrong to slightly twist the senator.gov and house.gov websites, if only to respectfully voice our concerns.
The Tea Party folks have led the way. The Freedom Concert’s have led the way. As individuals, we have this email means to express our different concerns uniquely, and directly to congress. Let us use it now!

Obamacare, racism, and the need to reset
The need to reset Obamacare is made apparent with the cry: “Racist!”
Jimmy Carter says, Charlie Rangel says, Bill Cosby says, Ex-president Bill Clinton,and various members of the state controlled media say, that those who criticize Obama
are racists. They seek to change the subject from Obamacare and the meaningful
healthcare reform that can only be truly bipartisan.
Of course, “race” is a weasel word that has little scientific merit.
Some Greeks have kinky hair, some south Pacific islanders have large lips,
the Ainu from Hokaido have white skin, etc. Science teaches that any creature
that can interbreed is the same species. Christianity (and most world
religions) teaches that we are all the children of God. And, our
American tradition, however tortured its history may be construed ( especially by
those who do not love it), puts all people equal before the law, and advances freedom. Yet,
some do not agree that racism is against science, against God, and
against the American way. Some say only whites can be racists. The
domain of rascist argument is steeped in falsehood and emotion because
the concept breaks down to mush under thoughtful analysis and study. If
the word ‘race’ could be deleted from the English language, we would all be the
better for it, notwithstanding the ‘human race’.
Further, those who say any who criticize Obama are racists use argument
AD HOMINEM, a most basic logical fallacy. Obama’s arguments stand or fall,
are valid or not, are wholly true or wholly false, are partially true or partially false,
based upon their own merits. Whether Obama is black or white, short or
tall, thin or fat, an American citizen or not, young or old, educated or
illiterate, socialist or mixed market oriented, are all irrelevant to the merits/demerits
of Obamacare.
What matters is the validity of the proposals and the effects that will
result. The truth of Obamacare rests on the proposals themselves and
the related consequences, intended or not. Those who call Obamacare’s
critics “rascists” point away from consideration of the need for reform
and away from the shape and balance long term reform requires.
The Democrats who are using this line of personal attack seek to
distract the public from focusing on the demerits of his plan: the
rationing, the fundamental omission of tort reform, of establishing a
common interstate market for the 1300 health insurance firms consistent
with the true meaning of the commerce clause, the equal
tax deductibility of premiums, the improvements needed for health
savings accounts, and many other market oriented enhancements that would
go a long way to build toward long term, sustainable healthcare reform (see H.R. 3400 at least).
That expropriating of the private healthcare industry will bring major
deficit contributions Obamacare advocates seek to sidestep. The taking
by government of the private property involved with the Obamacare
proposals is offensive, no matter over what period of time it is
carried out. People do well to consider that expropriation refers to
confiscation of private property with the stated purpose of establishing
social equality. The term appears as “expropriation of expropriators
(ruling classes)” in Marxist theory, or as slogan “Loot the looters!”,
very popular during the Russian October Revolution. Central ownership
of productive assets versus private diversified ownership almost always
finds central control lacking when the two are compared. The private
ownership of US mineral resources makes US petroleum development the
earliest and most innovative in the world, for example.
Much would be clarified to the Obama socialist if they understood better
the roll of profit in the economy. The Obamanisitas seem to share the while
any economics class reveals many kinds of profits, what concerns us here is
the total disregard for ‘normal profit’, that is the profit beyond his labor cost,
including his own, without which and entrepreneur would leave the business.
Profit represents the contribution of the doctor or businessman to my community.
Derived from the purchase transaction, it is validated objectively by a willing
buyer and a willing seller. I’m not talking about the monopolistic profits that
are derived or extorted as a partial result of Wall Street dictating what return
on investment (ROI) should be required of a for profit hospital, but that is the kind of
profit the socialist sees. Obama has demonstrated he has no regard for profit
Profits lead the way to more jobs, more investment and innovation
,and better healthcare.
In a sense, the race card being played indicates the Obamacare
realize that they cannot carry their arguments forward based upon merit
or popular discussion; all they have left is race baiting and character
assassination. Slick oratory for those who do no research on the present
and care not one wit for the parts our past that are worth saving, like the
US Constituion and private ownership of productive resources.
We need health reform. Just as the trial lawyers need to be curbed (
eg- see Texas & Kansas tort reforms), the profits of the health care
industry and health insurance industry needs reform. Wall Street should not be dictating
the acceptable Rate of Return (ROI) for hospitals, HMO’s and the like. But, the full
court press without regard to any concensus building and the misleading
statements of Obamcare advocates and their cry of “racist!”, surely
indicate this whole matter needs reset, started over from zero, and
entered into by those who seek a sustainable, long term reform, rather
than the cronyism that Obamacare represents. Tort reform, using the
commerce clause correctly to facilitate interstate trade in health insurance,
insuring health care for major health issues, better health savings accounts,
would go a long way to solving the problems, (see H.R. 3400 at least).
In his speech before the joint houses of congress, Obama said he would
now consider tort reform in the sense he’d have his Secretary of Health
and Human Services, Kathleen Sebelius, consider some tort reform trials,
but would still not include tort reform in Obamacare. Why not just look
into the results where it tort reform has already been passed, like Texas and Kansas?
And, then comes Biden saying tort reform would never be included because of
the opposition of the trail lawyers, major Democrat fund raisers… And, isn’t
this the same Kathleen Sebelius that fought so vigorously agains tort reform
in Kansas? That Obama spoke out of both sides of his mouth on that one
suggests akind of arrogance: speak to those who study the issue and speak
to those who don’t and say something different to each.
In a sense, the race card being played indicates the Obamacare advocates
realize that they cannot carry their arguments forward based upon merit
or popular discussion; all they have left is race baiting and character
assassination. They have proven themselves untrustworthy. And, then comes
Reid and his proposed abuse of House and Senate reconciliation, the
‘nuclear option’: just get the Republicans to sign onto something, and then
cram Obamacare down our throats. We need health truly biaprtisan healthcare
reform. Both the trial lawyers and the profits of the healthcare industry need
reigned in. The steps toward a better private healthcare system are everywhere
to be seen, but partisanship and self interest stands in the way. Obama
exempts his union and trial lawyer buddies. Obama’s sneak attempt to pass
his Obamacare by the end of July betray him and his cronies. If all the
statesmen cannot move it in the right direction, we may need a new congress
to get it right, to get it sustainable with reasonable profits and as much private
ownership as possible. Our government bannot afford Obamacare. Yet. with the private market healthcare pays its own way. This indicates that any reform needs to be private market based.
Separately, why is Obama the first president to not sign Eagle Scout Certificates
in the 100 years of BSA existence?

One thing I have realized about many libertarians and conservatives and now you Tea Party people is that you complain and whine about the government taking your money ,but love to also complain about lack of education, public works, and social security WHICH YOUR TAX DOLLARS ARE FOR. The problem with the United States is that most of it’s citizens are clueless to the truth about their country and how it is run. They allow themselves to be dragged into arguments and tirades that only aide in dividing our country.
The truth of the matter is that we have had what some are calling “socialized medicine for over twenty-years after the passing of EMTALA which requires all hospitals to meet the immediate needs of any person, regardless of their ability pay, or else they receive a large fine. Most of these individuals, and this includes illegal immigrants, never pay the bills. So guess who does? Yes, the tax payers of this nation.
So tell me, Who wrote that bill?, certainly not Obama.
It used to be that our citizens were responsible enough to listen to leaders or advocates that had integrity and told the truth. But now what we have is chaos. Anybody with a microphone can capture the attention of our citizens, and ultimately, this will lead to the down fall of this country: Uninformed citizens following people with their personal agendas who are taking advantage of their ignorance regarding the issues.

Wow this is different, What is socialism for the record? Also what relivence does this have to a tea party? Also we are NOT a christen country we are a mix of all races and creeds.
