A few months ago, we announced the formation of The Patriot Caucus. We thought there might be some excitement, but we had no idea it would get as wild as it did, as fast as it did. It grew so quick, in fact, that we had to lock down and freeze our initial planning wiki because we couldn’t keep up with everything that was happening.
This is a good problem to have, and it suggests to us that activists within the movement are ready for a fresh, new direction. Our planning team in no way claims to speak for the movement, nor do we believe we’re a “leadership” organization within the movement, but we’ve certainly been here since day one and we’ve helped hundreds of thousands of patriots find ways to be involved.
And because of this, we believe we’re well positioned to help take the movement to the next level. The Patriot Caucus is one of the vessels the movement now has to help us get there.

Patriot Caucus conferences are now scheduled for Philadelphia, Boise, Omaha, Birmingham, Indianapolis and Las Vegas. These regional conferences provide training, networking and resource shops for tea party activists.
Patriot Caucus Summary
In short, The Patriot Caucus exists to play a role as “Electoral Activism” arm of the movement. As many of you know, our federal PAC, the first of its kind “Tea Party PAC” has made national headlines and won its first victory last week in Illinois.
We’re currently building a slate of candidates and races to help direct tea party activists to districts where we can be effective. We’re working to back these candidates with financial and marketing support. And finally, through the Patriot Caucus, we’re seeking to develop a national network of GOTV campaigns and political activity that will influence the outcome of elections.
The Patriot Caucus is the “campaign” arm of what we’re up to, and you’re invited to be a part of the action!
Patriot Training
-Online Activism
Learn how to harness the power of social media, blogging, online organizing, online event planning, online fundraising, micro-site marketing, email marketing and more!
-Public Speaking
Many tea party activists and organizers have requested a crash course on ways to become a better public speaker. Our training on the subject will help you become more comfortable and effective when addressing audiences of all sizes.
-Media/Public Relations
Press release campaigns, media lists, media blitzes, TV appearances, radio shows and letters to the editor are all vital in properly communicating your movement message. Learn how to streamline your message and properly handle the media.
-GOTV (Get out the vote) Organizing
GOTV will make or break the results of an election. It’s extremely important that we organize local networks and events aimed at getting actual votes on election day. This session will provide you with tips and tricks and how to get out the vote through creative and fresh new ways of organizing.
-Coalition Building
Divided, we fall. But united, we as a movement cannot be defeated. Our Coalition Building session provides insight into the importance of unifying our movement through networks of activists who can work together towards the same goal.
-Precinct Organizing
The party structure has used us for years. It’s time we start using the structure to our own advantage.
-Grassroots Campaigning
The basics of running a grassroots political campaign.

A beginning teacher, perhaps your neighbor, earning $27,000, may be required to submit up to 5 Certificates of Certifications under the Every Child Left on Their Behind Act.
This Certificate(s) certifies that this teacher is qualified to educate your children.
This LAW was created and passed by Members of Congress who did NOT provide a Certificate of Certification to the People of the United States.
This LAW was created and passed by Members of Congress whose starting salaries far exceed $27,000.
This LAW and these Members of Congress are placed into power by YOU without YOU having a single bit of evidence of CERTIFICATION.
And your take home pay (benefits and perks) is far less than these Members of Congress.
So, who sold out whom?
I think that that is a super deal for the Members of Congress.
Don’t you?
Proposed 28th Amendment to the United States Constitution:
“Congress shall make no law that applies to the citizens of the United States that does not apply equally to the Senators and/or Representatives; and, Congress shall make no law that applies to the Senators and/or Representatives that does not apply equally to the citizens of the United States “.
Thank you Nancy W. for the links to GOOOH and the Congressional Reform Act.
I feel strongly that one of the true deeply concerned patriots in America today is Newt Gingrich, and I feel he should be encouraged by the movement to make a bid for the presidency and to speak at every tea party rally. I would also encourage every one to read his new books, To Try Men’s Souls, Pearl Harbor, and Rediscovering God In America. The pass word that Washington used the night he and his troops crossed the Delaware was one we need to use today, “Victory or Death”.
excellent work !
this is the new party and we must shun democracts as well as republicans . they had their chance now they need to go.
we want less government.lower taxes.full government accountability, and harsh prison sentances for government officials found corrupt. no amnesty for any government official legally prosecuted.
an end to lobyism. strong boarders and smart immigration policy with enforcement.
I am sooo pleased to see the TP movement taking hold as fast as it is…as there is not a moment to waste.
I believe Tim Cox of GOOOH has a GREAT plan for replacing the House of Representatives.
Also, there is now a “Congressional Reform Act of 2010″ bill that is circulating for signitures..to be introduced in Congress. (It can be “googled”.)
I work full time, but tell everyone I know about the “movement” and plan to join in protest on April 15. I don’t have a lot of free time, but try to help in the small ways I can.
GOOOH.com sells bumper stickers,etc.
Keep up the good work…it seems to be working!
I will pray that this movement will find the right leader.
I am a supporter of JD Hayworth and would like to see the TP endorse him!
What’s going on with Palin? Is she playing ‘good ol’ boys’ politics with McCain?
We should support JD Hayworth
I’m not a Tea Party Member but I’m curious to see if it is intellectually based or if it has the same weak foundation as existing institutions (republican and democrat entities).
I’m curious to discover what “limited” or “small” government actually means. The devil is in the details. What are the details?
Do you as a Citizen of the United States take ownership of government?
If so, then, why is the government the way it is? Is it because of you, the owner?
The existing federal government is the largest employer in the United States.
It’s mean salary is more than twice that of the private sector plus it provides substantial benefits and perks that private small businesses can only dream about.
Note that there are approximately 24,000,000 SMALL businesses in the private sector that employ the majority of working people in the United States.
IF these small businesses are providing health care, then, why cannot they be grouped as 24,000,000, hence, being able to offer health plans comparable to that of the government?
People have posted here that they do NOT want to pay for another persons health care.
Well, there are a couple of million of federal employees that you ARE paying for their health care.
GM states that you are paying upwards of $2,000 for their employees health care when you buy a GM vehicle.
So, again, YOU are paying for another person’s health care.
AS you can see, regardless if it is the government or the private sector, like GM, you ARE paying for other health care besides your own.
Further, a person, perhaps your family member or the person next to you on the job, becomes seriously ill or injured.
By Insurance Company calculations, YOU are paying for that person’s health care as well.
Can Tea Party do the job that needs to be done, for example, with health care, and provide the type of LEADERSHIP that We as a People need or are we facing yet another “political” party?
I am just hoping the momentum can hold, and this movement becomes permanent greass roots structure in the America political system. One that can vett candidates, and insure we return to and stay with the proper manner of governance as per the US Constitution.
Dear Douglas Estes, snide comments are uncalled for! TPMs are just regular folk that understand limited government is essential for our children’s economic future and our own independence and well being.
Join the movement. Go to the hardware store and buy a number 3 for the bumper of your car. Show politicions that we feel the American people have become the third (3) party in America. This simple idea cannot be hijacked by either existing party or power. Show them we have had enough of the same old stuff from Government. This clearly will show signs of unity. If we cannot even make this simple show of support then we just as well bow down to the masters. This MUST happen to show we can unite.
This is definately a great movement that has been started. For every one of us who are active in the process, there are at least 2-3 in silent disbelief. I spoke to my father last night, who agrees with the movement but doesn’t have the means to attend rallies or get involved. He will, however, read the sites and cast his vote on election day.
You might add history and spelling lesson as part of the training.
John Q. the Declaration of Independence doesn’t have a preamble. These kind of illiterate statements are what make our TEA Party look bad. The Constitution has a preamble.
The TPM sounds like a GREAT concept; legally tied to the preamble of the Declaration of Independence, and long overdue, however, be advised that the GOTV can still be foiled by the crooks in control currently (google “TrueVote”) by manipulating the election process.
This is not something new, and those in
control have been “unmerciful” in doling
out retribution to those that expose, or
threaten their control. You may want to make others in the TPM aware of the issues with electronic voting machines and to audit the “availability” of non-electronic voting machines in TPM-friendly demographics (see the documentary: “Uncounted” for more info).
I wish you all the best, we certainly need MAJOR reform (i.e. “House-cleaning) in the US Gov. today. If there is anything “we” can do from the safety of obscurity, please post it on your website.
