While there will certainly be rallies and events similar to what we worked on in 2009, the 2010 Tax Day Tea Party promises to be a far more comprehensive effort aimed at moving emotion into action. This will require more work as an organization that previous efforts might have needed. And this is where you come in.
We’ll be opening up more areas of help needed in the coming weeks, but for now this is where we need the most help.
State Coordinators
We’re looking for individuals in each state who can serve as a “point of contact” for those seeking information regarding the state based operations for 2010. This position will require an average of 5 to 10 hours per week.

State Organizers
This individual will be the key Tax Day Tea Party organizer for the state. The position requires the ability to obtain needed permits, function as the point contact for the statewide tea party, work with media and the rest of the state based Tax Day Tea Party infrastructure.

Communications Directors
We need communications help at both the national as well as state levels. If you have experience with organizing teams of volunteers to build press lists and contact media, the ability to create clean and precise press releases, appear on TV and radio, and want to help us take this movement to the next level… we want to hear from you.
