The Democrats in Congress are threatening to pass a law to tax AIG bonuses at a rate of 100%, feigning “righteous indignation” at the misuse of taxpayers money!
If the misuse of taxpayers money is to be punished, then Congress should punish itself. The bonus money at AIG is only a drop in the bucket compared to the rip-off in the “stimulus” bill that Congress passed so swiftly overnight.
I believe this feigned anger aimed at AIG is a purposeful distraction created by the Dems in Congress and the Obama administration to keep the American taxpayers from focusing their anger where it really belongs—
squarely on the President and Congress!
Righteous indignation indeed…..don’t be fooled.
